Home Sellers Can’t Afford to Wait!

winter in MaineDo you want to sell your home this year?  If so, it should be on the market right now.  “Why the heck would I put my home on the market in the dead of winter?” you ask.  Because Buyers aren’t waiting – they want to buy NOW and good listing inventory is lower than it’s been in years.

Once the calendar page turned onto the new year, Buyers, planning to buy a home this year, made a resolution to get out and start looking.  And looking, they are – on the internet, driving around neighborhoods, calling real estate agents, and getting pre-qualified with lenders – They are ready to buy!

I have been actively working with two such active Buyers, and guess what?  The very sad news (for them) is that there isn’t much to show them right now.  So, if you want to sell your home this year and were going to put it on the market in the spring, anyway, why don’t you kick it into high gear, get the house ready to show, and put it on the market right NOW?

Buyers aren’t waiting, so Sellers can’t afford to wait, either.  Timing is everything!  List Home for Saleyour home now while demand is strong and supply is low.  If you price right, your home will sell more quickly with less competition.  When all those other homes come on the market in the spring, your home will have to stand out among a much larger field.

You can see that Spring is not always the best time to sell.  The perfect buyer for your home could be out there right now and without your home to view, they will settle for someone else’s and be all moved in by the time the real estate sign hits your lawn.

Don’t miss out – Call Maine Home Realty and put your home on the market TODAY!
