In October Bath’s Real Estate market remained about the same for Active Listings only decreasing by three from 42 to 39 when comparing to September. The Pending Sales decreased by five from 16 in September to 11 for the month of October. The Sold Properties increased by seven from 9 in September up to a total of 16 for October. The inventory remains steady giving buyers options to consider as we head into the long and cold Maine winter, and yes it is coming quick! With predicted record lows for the Holiday please make sure to stay warm and also keep an eye on a friend or neighbor in need. We must also remember to give our small Bath business owners some attention during the shopping season. They are what make our downtown strong and the community a unique place for all of us to call home.
October ended with 39 Current Listings (down 3 from September), 11 Pending Sales (down 5 from September), and 16 Closed Sales (up 7 from September). Average Sales Price to List Price Ratio was 97% for October.
