In March Bath’s Real Estate market saw a very large increase in Active listings from only 22 up to 41! A large part of this is a bulk of listings in the same neighborhood that all came on the market around the same time. We will have to see how they are absorbed into the market when we look at the Active Listings for next month. Bath has become a very attractive place to call home due to its great downtown with shops and restaurants and riverfront park. With affordability closed in most other regions south of Bath, Bath has become the new hot spot for home buyers. It offers a little bit of everything from new to old which gives a little something for all buyers. If you plan to list in Bath, don’t wait! The market is moving very fast and buyers are ready and waiting. One would expect the market to slow down sometime in the future so why gamble, make your plans to sell in 2018 soon and you won’t regret it!
March ended with 41 Current Listings (up 19 from February), 21 Pending Sales (up 5 from February), and 9 Closed Sales (down 3 from February). Average Sales Price to List Price Ratio was 95% for March.
