Snow, snow, everywhere snow!  Just as we thought we were getting back into somewhat of a normal routine, we find instead that we are more pre-occupied than ever with snow clearing and frigid temperatures.  If the start of the year is any indicator, it looks like Topsham will maintain its steady pace for home sales, much as we saw in 2014.

January ended with just 45 Current listings, down from 49 at the end of December, which is fewer Topsham homes for sale than we had on the market last January. The month ended with 11 Pending Sales (2 fewer than December), and 6 Closed Sales in January (1 more than in December).

While Average Days on Market increased to 95, Median Price also increased, and Sales Price to List Price ratio held steady at 95% in January.

Topsham is a town of much variety in terms of the housing that is available. There are in-town, historic neighborhoods, suburban settings, new construction, condominiums and rural homesteads amidst rolling landscapes. Home to The Topsham Fair Mall, you will find shopping, dining and services conveniently located within the community. Easy access to I-295 also makes Topsham an easy commute to Portland or Augusta and it is a quick hop to Lewiston-Auburn.
