1st Quarter 2013 Market Report for Our Market Area

The chart below shows 1st quarter home sales stats for Maine Home Realty’s 16-Town Market Area.   As a point of comparison, we’ve included last year’s Annual Sales data, too.

You can see that we have already logged 15% of the number of sales that we closed in all of 2012. Considering that the winter months see a slow-down in home-buying and inventories are diminished, plus the fact that we had terrible snowstorms every weekend in February, this looks like a healthy start to the year’s home sales. The rest of the numbers also appear to be heading in a positive direction!
