The kids are back in school, Labor Day weekend is a fond, or should I say hot and steamy, memory, the days are just noticeably shorter, and it is beginning to feel like Autumn in the early morning air. In August, the real estate market in Bath performed pretty much on the same course as it did in July.
August ended with 114 Current Listings (up 3 from July), 18 Pending Sales (down 1 from July), and 16 Closed Sales in August (down 1 from July). But, we saw Average Sales Price to List Price Ratio dip from 98% in July to 95% in August.
If we compare August 2015 to August of 2014, Bath’s Summer Real Estate Selling Season has also shown a certain steadiness year-over-year: 114 Current Listings this August vs. 98 in 2014; 18 Pending Sales this August vs. 19 in 2014; and 16 Closed Sales this August is 3 better than last August’s Sales of 13. Onward!
