January ended with just 67 Current Listings (down 2 from December), 36 Pending Sales (down 2 from December), and 18 Closed Sales in January (down 4 from December). After dipping down a couple points last month, Average Sales Price to List Price Ratio recovered nicely, and is back up to 98% for January.
Let’s compare January 2016 with January 2015 in Brunswick:
- 67 Current listings in 2016 vs. 89 last January;
- 36 Pending Sales in 2016 vs. 27 last January;
- 18 Closed Sales in 2016 vs. 25 last January;
- January 2016 Median Sales Price $239,950 vs. January 2015 Median Sales Price $155,000.
A shortage of Homes for Sale in Brunswick was a recurring theme during 2015.
